K.D. Tucker Whitaker ThM - Senior Pastor - [Account] - gmail.com@jesusplus0

Tuck Whitaker is a ranch raised cowboy who has spent the majority of his adult life working in the ranching and agricultural community. He was a Pro Rodeo cowboy and Wrangler rodeo Judge. He has been involved in evangelism to people in the western culture for the past 15 years. He co-founded Cowboy Church Ministries to Pro Rodeo in 1995 and has been involved in Ranch Rodeo ministry in Texas and the southwest for the past 10 years. Ordained in 1983, Tuck has his Masters degree in Theology from Heritage Baptist University.

Tuck and his "lil' bride" Deb were married in January 2008.  Born on the Kansas plains, Deb Kaufman~Whitaker was raised in the ranching community of Bennett, Colorado. She competed in youth rodeo and was involved in 4H and FFA. She Graduated from Bethel College with a Bachelors degree in Art in 1984, and has been an Art teacher in the Dallas and Irving, Texas school districts for the past 21 years. Deb has been involved in women’s Bible studies and various other ministries at Irving Bible Church.

Tuck Served as Outreach Evangelist at Narrow Trail Cowboy Church until July 2008 when yielding to the Call of the Lord, he and Deb stepped out in faith as church planters.  With the goal of planting culturally relevant churches focusing on the Western or Cowboy Heritage, common to most folks in Texas and the rest of the western states, Tuck and Deb turned their energy to Grapevine, Texas.  The Cowboy Heritage Church of Grapevine is very simply a fellowship of likeminded believers who believe all that is needed for life and godliness is found in the pages of God's Holy Bible, that Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation, and "In Christ" believers are called to "Stand Fast" in the Faith. GCHC is all about Jesus!  Tuck and Deb are excited about the ministry opportunity that is The Cowboy Heritage Church, and the continued leading of God in their lives.

Tuck encourages you to catch the vision of church unencumbered by programs and personalities... Church done simple... serving Jesus by serving others!  Come visit The Cowboy Heritage Church of Grapevine, Texas and participate however God leads you to.

Daily I am amazed with the direction God is leading both Tuck and I, and The Cwboy Heritage Church of Grapevine.
We are so ordinary but God is doing extraordinary things!

I was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ Jesus as my Savior at a very young age but it wasn’t until my 30’s that I developed a viable, powerful, everyday working relationship with Jesus as the center and Lord of my life.

I had been involved in Woman’s Bible Study for the past 15 years and it was there that I found unconditional acceptance, genuine friendship, accountability, and a hunger for a deeper relationship with my Savior through women who had a servants heart for Jesus and were willing to saddle up beside me and be true disciples.

Here at the Cowboy Heritage Church, we are not about joining a program or club or promoting an agenda... We are about coming along side of other women to encourage each other in our journey with Jesus. As Christian woman we are a part of something bigger than ourselves.

God has given me a heart to love and encourage woman of all ages and I am excited about the opportunity to have an intentional and purposeful investment in the lives of the woman here at the Cowboy Heritage Church. It is my prayer that we are about establishing relationships, supporting common causes, dedicated to serving each other and other sisters in Christ, and to bring the love and grace of Jesus to woman everywhere who do not yet know Him.

J.D. Harvey - Elder - Lay Pastor (Music Ministry) - gmail.com@JD.Oldwest

As a kid in the summer of 1969, I was attending the Vacation Bible School at the Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fort Worth Texas where I realized that I had never been saved. I walked forward during the invitation and was led to the Lord by a good friend of our family.

In the summer of 1979, I followed the Lord in baptism and became a member of the Central Park Baptist Church in Carrollton Texas where I later met and married by lovely wife, Layna. We have been married for more than 25 years and God has given us three wonderful kids.

During the course of our marriage, we have been involved with only three churches and now God has led us to be a part of the Cowboy Heritage Church of Grapevine . Our ministry focus has always been music and we are excited to be contributing to the music ministry in this new church. We look forward to many wonderful blessings from the Lord at the Cowboy Heritage Church.

We want you to know that it is our desire and prayer to God that you learn of his Son, Jesus Christ. Our church is about him and his sacrifice on the cross for our salvation. We want to be a blessing to you and help in your relationship with Jesus. You will be welcomed and you are wanted at the Cowboy Heritage Church of Grapevine!
